Musical Performance Grant

Music Drives Us wants to help individuals who have a passion for music and a desire to share that passion through free concerts. All throughout New England, talented musical groups are struggling to find the money to bring their music to interested listeners at schools, after school programs, in town halls and on town greens.

We recognize that these concerts are on the verge of extinction and work with musicians to compensate them for their expenses. We also help musicians set up their own concerts, thereby ensuring that the money is used to bring music to areas that could not otherwise afford it. All concerts performed with funding from Music Drives Us must be free and must have a musical education component.

These grants support varied musical genres, so that the listeners are exposed to jazz, classical, blues, rock and internationl music.

Grant Notice

All applicants will be notified of the Music Drives Us Board's funding decisions by December 15, 2008.
