Band Gig School of Music and Performance
Music Drives Us Partner
Music Drives Us has teamed up with Band Gig to offer after school programs guidance and instruction on how to put together a rock band. Give kids a chance to watch their individual lessons and practice sessions pay off once they feel what its like to be part of a band.
The Band Gig Program teaches you how to be a part of a band. Geared toward teens and adults (ages 12 and up) that already have one thing in common: they love music and want to play in a band. Many teens are bedroom musicians who play holed-up by themselves. And many adults are closet rock 'n roll stars playing in their basements alone.
With the expertise of our instructors you will be placed in a band situation with fellow musicians with similar interests and different strengths in a positive and nurturing environment. Bringing people together through music, Band Gig places people who want to be in a band, but either don't know how, don't have the confidence to do so, have no one with whom to start a band, or don't have a place to rehearse.
Band Gig ™ strives to bring people of all ages the gift of music. They hit every angle, not only does the student learn what they need to know but what they want to know by using songs that they want to play. Band Gig all is about the student.
At Band Gig School of Music & Performance they put the student and their music first. Through the programs Band Gig offers, their students have the opportunity to play in a band, play live performances and record a demo. There are many opportunities throughout the year for Band Gig's students to perform. Twice a year their LIVE concerts raise funds for the Music Drives Us Foundation, giving students a chance to give back, keeping music in our communities.
